Tomorrow marks just one week until WrestleMania
34 – where Roman Reigns challenges for the Universal Championship, Charlotte and Asuka
face off in Streak vs. Title, Ronda Rousey makes her in-ring debut and so much more.
Although we’re still expecting John Cena vs. The Undertaker to be announced, we thought
it was time we collated together all of the biggest news stories, rumours, surprises,
potential spoilers and crazy conspiracy theories going into WrestleMania 34. Title: WrestleMania 34 Rumours, Surprises
& Potential Spoilers! 1. Big Cass Returns
Big Cass has been out with an injury since August 2017, where he went down with a torn
ACL during a match against Enzo Amore. Over the last week there have been reports that
Big Cass has been backstage at Raw tapings, and has been telling people that he is medically
cleared to wrestle. Potentially this means Cass could return in the Andre The Giant Memorial
Battle Royal, or he could be the mystery tag team partner for Braun Strowman in his Tag
Team Championship match against The Bar. But if it’s not Big Cass, there’s another
Big person it could be. 2. Big Show Returns
Big Show has been posting pictures of his training since his surgery last year promising
a #giant return, and UPI reported that Show has told them he will definitely be back by
WrestleMania 34. Could that be as either a part of the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle
Royal – or as Braun Strowman’s mystery partner? However it might not matter who Braun’s
partner is. 3. The Bar Retain
Earlier this year WWE announced The Greatest Royal Rumble – a potential WWE Network special
from Saudi Arabia which will feature a 50-man over the top rope Royal Rumble. Not only that,
but the show will feature 7 championship defenses. And one of those advertised is The Bar vs.
The Hardy Boyz for the Raw Tag Team Championships – suggesting The Bar will retain. However
it should be noted that in these situations, the card is always subject to change and this
doesn’t confirm that The Bar are retaining. 4. Seth Rollins Wins The Intercontinental
Championship A slightly more interesting house show announcement
however pertains the Intercontinental Championship match between The Miz, Seth Rollins and Finn
Balor. After WrestleMania WWE will be doing their bi-annual tour of Europe, and SSE Belfast
put out a tweet recently announcing that Seth Rollins would be defending his Intercontinental
Championship against Finn Balor. While cards are always subject to change, it’s interesting
that that the tweet was deleted – suggesting it was posted by mistake. While there is no
guarantee that Rollins or Balor will be winning the title at Mania, one has to wonder if The
Miz will wanting some time off to spend with his wife and newborn daughter. And if he is,
Raw will need some new faces on the show. Some faces like: 5. Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens Move To Monday
Night Raw On Tuesday Daniel Bryan confirmed the tag
team match of himself and Shane McMahon taking on Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn – with the stipulation
that if Owens and Zayn win they’ll get reinstated on to Smackdown Live, but if they lose they
will remain fired. This could tie into an angle show last year where Kevin and Sami
were talking with Stephanie McMahon about returning to Raw, and Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling
Observer has speculated – speculated not reported – that we could see Owens and Zayn leave Smackdown
Live for the red brand to get them away from Shane and Bryan. Now I know what you’re
thinking. Smackdown could lose two of its biggest guys there – who will they get to
replace them? How about… 6. Asuka Wins The Smackdown Live Women’s
Championship Royal Rumble winner Asuka made a shock appearance
at WWE Fastlane to challenge Charlotte for the Smackdown Live Women’s Championship
– which has since been made official. Bryan Alvarez has since reported that one of the
plans is to have Asuka win the championship to build to a match for the title at WrestleMania
35 against Ronda Rousey. Not only does this mean that Asuka will be moving to Smackdown
Live post WrestleMania, it also means she’ll remain undefeated until this time next year. 7. Roman Reigns Wins The Universal Championship
Dave Meltzer first reported that the plan since WrestleMania last year was to crown
Roman Reigns as the Universal Champion by defeating Brock Lesnar in the main event of
WrestleMania 34. And if rumours are to be believed, his first feud following Mania will
be against the returning Samoa Joe. But what of his Mania 34 opponent? 8. Brock Lesnar Leaves WWE
It’s been heavily reported that Brock Lesnar’s contract expires after WrestleMania 34, with
many claiming that he has plans to return to UFC. This was furthered when Lesnar posed
for a photo with UFC’s Dana White, with White telling Kevin Harnick that the chances
of Lesnar returning are “very, very good.” And if Lesnar is leaving, he might not be
leaving alone. 9. Paul Heyman Leaves WWE
The Wrap reported a story recently about Paul Heyman and his partner Mitchell Stewart working
on a series of unscripted programs to go across multiple platforms. This means that Heyman
could be focused on these projects moving forward – one of which he’s the star of
– and The Wrap even report that Heyman’s WWE contract also expires after WrestleMania
34. Although the Wrestling Observer has also reported that he could re-sign and be teamed
with Ronda Rousey. 10. Goldberg Returns To WWE
And in from the ‘unlikely to happen pile’ of WrestleMania 34 rumours, WWF Old School
are reporting – which was then re-printed by UK tabloid The Sun – that Goldberg won’t
just be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame over Mania weekend. The site claims WWE have
plans for Goldberg to be a surprise entrant in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal
– and win it. Take this one with a pinch of salt. Was Matt Hardy’s Ultimate Deletion a success?

  1. I wanna see Bàlor or Rollins win the Intercontinental title, Dean to return and heel turn on one of those winners. This will lead to a heel title reign of Ambrose

  2. Goldberg spears Brock while the ref is distracted, Roman gets the pin & belt and remains the biggest heel.

  3. Sorry, have to be the grammar police here. The European tour is semi-annual, meaning every half a year. Bi-annual means every two years.

  4. I don't know if Reigns winning could really be called a rumor because there isn't a chance Lesnar is leaving with the title.

  5. My prediction; the Bar will lose and Braun mystery partner will be Bray Wyatt so it will be the woken Hardys vs '' new ? '' Bray Wyatt and Braun maybe.

  6. and GOOD BYE BROCK glad to see you go wont miss you gonna be happy the title gos to someone who ISNT FORCED to show to a DAMN monday night

  7. Brock Lesnar I'm going to miss you in wrestling you one of the greatest wrestlers that ever lived and I hope you keep in wrestling

  8. Wait! When did these guys become corporate shills, disabling comments and the like. What is trident digital media? Who is byron saxton…?

  9. Brock Lesnar will be going the the UFC while Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn will be going to Monday Night Raw. I hope Seth Rollins will be heading to Smackdown.

  10. i guarantee asuka will defeat charlotte but then carmella cashes in mitb and ends her undefeated streak

  11. Were I WWE, I'd have the Shield turn heel at Mania to help Roman beat Brock. Do it the style of their original entry to the main roster. Sure, Ambrose is injured, but you don't need him to take any bumps or anything until he's healed. Imply that he's taking part in the beat down when the lights go off if he can't even take part in that. Then have them run rough shod over Raw, as an anti-Kurt Angle faction that get the upper hand over him and the running with Raw. Culminating in bringing some new talent up from NXT to put an end to their reign of terror (or else reignite the face heat of some of the current faces). Lots of scope for angles there (you could even have them exert control over other wrestlers by intimidating other heels to work alongside them, interfere with faces – you know, go for a full blown large heel stable of the Ministry of Darkness ilk (we haven't had a true one of those for a long while)).

But what do I know? WWE will keep failing to push Roman Reigns as a face, and would just book them as chickenshit heels even if they did turn the Shield.

  12. I feel sorry for all women on smackdown. None of them will get a chance for the title for at least another year.

  13. I really hope you are wrong about Rhonda and WM35. We will have to see how she handles losing a WWE match first……..she has a tendency in the past to lose her shit a bit when she loses lol. She is incredibly overrated and that mean-mug look of hers will get real old with having a real personality.

  14. Man, if Goldberg came back and Kevin Owens moved to RAW, we could have this epic match:

Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar vs Goldberg vs Kevin Owens vs Finn Balor in a Fatal Five Way match for the Universal Title. Brock, Goldberg, Owens & Balor all cashing in on their automatic rematch clauses at the same time. Wanna' really make Reigns the Big Dog and the Top Guy, have him beat the 4 Universal Champs that came before him all at once.

I know it won't happen, but it would be pretty sweet

  15. If anyone is thinking, how will Show and Strowmen title reign will end……Wellllllllllll with Show screwing up.

(edited) Sometime later or just next week after Mania 34

  16. I hate when news outlets spout o dumb rumors……Sad thing is WWE possibly may do them…..Doesn't make sense to have Cass team with Braun since before his injury he was getting a singles push coming out of a tag team where some can say he might have been overshadowed by someone shorter than him. How much spotlight do you think he's going to get with Braun?? What also doesn't make sense….Big Show being his tag partner…..last time we saw Show, he was being thrown through a cage by Braun…..why would Show team with him….whoever thought of either rumor is an idiot imo. I am wondering if they call Lars Scullivan up from NXT to be his partner(I could be wrong, so if someone knows more than me please correct me, but didn't they used to tag in NXT?) Oh, and why on earth would they bring Mysterio back to be his partner just so he can take a pin, lose and go back to NJPW? And Goldberg coming back and winning a battle royal for midcarders makes absolutely no sense at all either. Some things are just stupid.

  17. nobody cares for asuka… she is just an overrated
    and about matt hardy???… bruh
still cena's one sided feud is better than that of bray&matt!!!!!

  18. Even tho The Bar has the titles at the GRR it doesnt mean that they retain, Braun and other dude can win and loose it at Backlash

  19. Be fitting the Cena and Taker do this on Smackdown since they both were corner stones of Smackdown more so then Raw to a certain extent

  20. I would like to see Heyman become Asukas manager. If Brock does leave it would be good for both Asuka and Heyman if they got together.

  21. Bic Cass revealed as Brauns partner. Then they have a decent feud to keep braun busy till summerslam where he meets roman for the title. Spoiler

  22. Well if it’s in the sun it must be true, they have never lied or flat out made stuff up.

    I’ll stop with my snark.

  23. Idc I want charlotte to retain ! Like the whole auska thing is soooooooo annoying . Like Even Ember moon almost beat her but idk I guess Wwe wants her to be the face . She bad ass but imagine if she steals the tittle and go to Japan and never come back lol . I just want the women division storyline to be more interesting that all . But Nia Jax as champion! I hope she wins and that Charlotte retains ! Ember moon for the wrestlemania women battle royal !

  24. What if I told you that Dean Ambrose will team with Strowman and win the titles only to loose them a few weeks later. ???? #MooncakeRules
