Ex ROH Team DEBUT In WWE NXT! | WrestleTalk News Apr. 2018

Hello and welcome to the WrestleTalk News,
I am Luke Owen. Headline: The Artists Known As Triple H Podcaster Pat McAfee revealed on his show
recently that he might be doing more work with WWE in the future. McAfee appeared on the kick off panel for
NXT TakeOver: New Orleans and told his crew on the WrestleMania 34 episode of The Pat
McAfee Show that Michael Cole is the man who petitioned for him to get the part – revealing
he was in gorilla position for all of TakeOver, sat next to Cole, Shawn Michaels, Triple H
and later Stephanie and Vince McMahon. And not only did McAfee get to other fun stuff
like walk around Axxess with Macaulay Culkin, he also revealed this little interesting tidbit
about NXT production and a certain proud papa: “I don’t even know if I’m supposed to be
saying these things but he like [HHH], he’s a logo drawer, he draws some of their [NXT]
logos. He’s like Vince McMahon, he’s all in.” [QUOTE] Triple H for All In confirmed! Headline: Triple H Praises Nicholas Another proud father backstage in WWE will
be referee John Cone, who’s son Nicholas made history by becoming the youngest-ever
recognised WWE Tag Team Champion this past Sunday at WrestleMania 34. Nicholas was plucked from the ‘Mania crowd
by his new BFF Braun Strowman, but the pair only held the tag straps for just one day
when they sadly relinquished them to general manager Kurt Angle because of Nicholas’
scheduling issues: He has to go back to school. Rumour has it that Nicholas threw a bully
off the bus the following day because he was acting too big for his boots, and Nicholas
is now seen as a locker room leader in his school’s gym. Angle has now set up a Tag Team Eliminator
– which I’m pretty sure was featured on Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Challenge – for
those vacant belts, and NXT’s Triple H shared his adoration for former champ Nicholas on
social media – giving him the now famous point. No, not that one, this one. “Unfortunately due to some scheduling conflicts
(recess, cafeteria, math class) Nicholas won’t be able to defend the #Raw tag team titles. But what a WrestleMania moment!!!!” Good pointing there, Triple H. But it wasn’t just Nicholas that Triple
H posed with at this past Monday. Headline: Triple H Congratulates NXT Call-Ups As proud Papa Haitch saw some of his NXT children
called up to the main roster of Monday Night Raw. The show first saw Ember Moon tag with new
Women’s Champion Nia Jax to take on Alexa Bliss and Mickie James [9], then saw No Way
Jose become the new Adam Rose, and Authors of Pain squash Heath Slater and Ryhno in a
matter of seconds. Come on Trips, he’s got kids! As a proud papa you should know how he feels! Like a parent watching their child head off
to school for the first time, Triple H posted on Twitter: No WWE debut is a given…how
you take your spot is up to you. Tag team dominance, eclipsing the competition,
or a conga line with the greatest fans in the world … the opportunity is all there”,
along with pictures of him posing with Authors of Pain, No Way Rose and avid Dungeons and
Dragons player Moon And as one door closes for those former NXT
champions – and No Way Jose – another one opens for a former ROH tag team. Headline: Ex-ROH Team Debut On NXT! Prior to TakeOver: New Orleans, NXT tapped
a couple of matches that made up the broadcast of this week’s show in between the multitude
of video packages. Kairi Sane beat Lacey Evans at the start of
the show, but during the main event of Heavy Machinery vs. Riddick Moss & Tito Sabbatelli
we got the much-anticipated debut of Hanson and Rowe, War Machine – not that one – who
beat down all four men – hitting the Fallout on Sabbatelli. And perhaps Rhodey is the reason that the
team revealed their new name: War Raiders. And if you want to avoid some NXT spoilers
for the next set of TV tapings, just stop the video now – but be sure to check out all
the other great content we have on this channel. But for those who are staying: War Raiders will continue their winning ways,
beating both Heavy Machinery and Riddck & Moss in seperate tag matches, and a jobber tag
team named Metro Brothers. The last step of WrestleMania week was Smackdown
Live, and Oli and I gave some in-depth thoughts on the very newsworthy show. Click the video over there to check that out
and the one above it for more awesome wrestling content.

  1. This has got me curious, but why is some people not happy about War Machine having to change their name? I mean, what's wrong with War Raiders? Also doesn't RoH or NJPW own the name War Machines as well? 😕

  2. Charlotte will go to Raw. Reason she lost to Carmella. And join Steph and HHH as the member of the New Authority to take down Ronda. You heard it here 1st.

  3. Since people are still wondering why it’s War Raiders and not War Machine, it’s called a Trademark and Disney owns the TM on War Machine. Mystery solved.

  4. No way Jose won't be around forever in the WWE. Ember Moon will be a champ and AOP tag champs someday. War Machine or Raiders do look awesome.

  5. Notice there was no pic shown of HHH posing with The Iconics for their call-up. Raw always steals the spotlight. SD gets no love.

  6. Not just jobbers but AWE wrestling team, and more AWE Wrestling talent was used at NXT yesterday. I know we all hate War Raiders.. would've been best with War Warriors as a tribute to Road Warriors and could've even had Ellering stay in NXT handling them. Oh Well.

  7. last time i saw no way Jose on NXT, the arena was DEAD during his match. No surprise that Wwe is giving a failed gimmick a slow a painful death. Kong-a-line your way all the way to unemployment Jose!

  8. Its pat Mac a fee. Sorry guys to correct you. But he use to be a wvu mountainner kicker. And yeah I'm from west Virginia so yea mountaineers are my favorite team… Js next time get the last names right

  9. Luke….I forsee Oli and yourself taking a fall at #Allin. And im going to push you on the way down. Get ready ill be commenting my challege until one of you responds. #yournewheel

  10. Any thoughts on Enzo's charges getting dropped a few days ago, & the "victim" that accused him deleting all of her social media afterwards??

  11. No way jose will fail at raw. Should have stayed in NXT… I wouldnt be surprised if later on he gets released just caz the fans are into his gimmick like in NxT

  12. Moon wasn't cosplaying as anything from Dungeons and Dragons. She was dressed like someone from Monster Hunter World.

  13. I watched War Machine on ROH and they are damn good. I think they will be in the WWE in the not too distant future.

  14. Is it just me or does it seem like most of the current diva call ups are more or less uglier then how Vince had the divas during the Stratus to the Kelly Kelly era. Only hot divas seem to be Sasha Banks, Alexa Bliss and Becky Lynch.

  15. Uuuuuh…Peyton and Kay debuted too. Their promo was hilarious. They are pretty good wrestlers too. I hope they somehow manage to get some shine even though you have Asuka and Charlotte in the big picture. Not to mention Riott Squad. I really hope we see an Iconics vs Bella Twins tag match. By beating them (former Divas champions) they can really become credible threats.

  16. I like the name war raiders…I can see them having a rivalry with heavy Machinery and destroying them to change their name back to War Machine.

  17. I hated mccafe on the takeover pre-show. All he did was say"in Johnny Vs ciampa, there are no rules Charlie…no rules! Just no rules! " I wanted to die

  18. The Triple H point picture has become such a gimmick that there's a cut out of him pointing that you can take a picture with at Axxess

  19. War Machine will do great in NXT. Then they will get buried when they reach the main roster by the Vince McMahon ass kissers.

  20. Why in the flying fuck would you take the company's all-around monster heel and have him do some meaningless little kid gag?! You just un-did everything you've done to make him a monster! He should have taken on the tag team champs all by himself and looked even stronger at the end. Geez, but instead you also de-value the former champions because they just got beat by a team which included a fucking CHILD… NOBODY benefitted from this retarded-ass booking!

  21. Don't like No way Jose, especially with that stupid Adam 🌹 Rose gimmick….much better guys in NXT They could bring up… Great to SEE AOP Tho…Hopefully Paul Ellering stays around in some capacity
